The Mustang Mach-E comes equipped with a state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery. The powerful battery pack, located between the SUV's axles, is compact, waterproof, and protected by a heavy-duty crash-absorbing battery case. The two versions of the battery feature 288 lithium-ion cells or 376 lithium-ion cells.

What Are My Options for Battery and Drivetrain?

The Mach-E electric SUV is available with a 68 kWh standard range or an 88 kWh extended-range lithium-ion battery. Depending on the model, the Mach-E offers RWD and eAWD powertrain options, powered by magnet motors.

Is AWD on an Electric Vehicle Any Different Than on a Gas-Powered Vehicle?

The front and rear axles of a Mach-E are powered independently by primary and secondary electric motors. When torque is applied independently to either axle, not only is traction improved but the vehicle's performance is boosted as well. Mustang Mach-E models with eAWD deliver exceptional acceleration and impressive performance.

Does the Vehicle Come With a Charger Cord?

All Ford Mustang Mach-E SUVs come standard with the Ford Mobile Power Cord. Using a standard 120V household wall outlet adds 3 miles of range per charging hour. When connected to a 240V wall outlet, the Mach-E obtains a full charge (from zero) in 15 hours, which translates to about 20 miles of range per charging hour.
